hey :) - I read through some of your older entries, and the one in which you write of the types of people that go to cinemas is spot on. Made me laugh because I've sat in my fave spot and come to the exact same conclusions. Plus, if you bag the end of the aisle seats, you have the luxury of more leg room ;)

A seven minute mile is pretty fast. ;) I do mine in 15 minutes... but that's because I walk. *g*

Reading the obits really changes after loosing someone. Tomorrow will begin the 11th week since I lost my wife after 2.5 years of marriage. I don't know why I scan the obits now, never did before. Just can't seem to turn past without looking at the ages (my wife was 24).

It's awkward signing the guestbook of another guy, so many people who keep journals on diaryland are female that it's unusual to find a brilliant diary by a male. Nevertheless, I just finished reading yours to date, and wanted to wish you well, and thank you for sharing. Peace.

I swear this is my last one tonight... If I have anything else to say, I'll email you (poor thing!) or save it until 12:01am EST. I just looked at your profile and noticed you listed The Bard as a favorite author... and that you put Othello as his best work. My feelings exactly. No matter how much I adore Hamlet, my first love was Othello.

I'm sorry... don't mean to be filling your guestbook with entries... but I'm reading your archives and I came across this: "Do other people talk to loved ones at their grave site? I’m writing this and realize it seems sort of strange." Yes... not everyone does, but some people -- including me -- do. My father died in January of this year. I talk to him whenever I see him... it's sort of an old tradition. I always used to talk to him in his room at the nursing home where he lived... I'd tell him everything I'd done and what I'd thought and what I'd seen. It's just natural for me to still do it now, because I know he's listening. I think it must be natural for you too.

Ahahah! Whew! Because, of course, I have more taste than to like Hayden whateverhisnameis. I like art-house actors. I'm glad you had such a good time! I went off last night and wrote a big rant about the movie and why I won't see it, but I'm just a film snob. ;D Ignore me.

I know, I couldn't believe it when I found that site. So wrong. Ugh. I was laughing the other day when you were talking about Star Wars...you know that Ewan McGregor is the guy who played Obi-Wan, right? I had this sudden horrible feeling that you thought the guy me and my friends are so nuts over is that little whiny guy who plays Anakin. :P
