We must drive along the same stetch of highway. I don't how many times I've had some guy driving like maniac just to get a little bit ahead, and then we get off at the same exit only to get stuck at the same light. I've been tempted to get out of the car, knock on his window and ask: Did you save any time driving like that? I would, but I'd probably get shot at.

Granted there are some psycho drivers out there. However, I am a big beliver in the passing lane. Here's how it works in theory - the slower drivers drive in the right lane and the left lanes are reserved for passing only. It's a novel concept especially to those in your neck of the woods. That way everyone is happy. Slower drivers can drive slow and faster drivers are allowed to pass.
The most considerate drivers I've ever seen live in Denver Co. - there they actually pull over if you want to pass and they don't speed up when you put on your blinker.
I know this site isn't a debate forum, but I just had to voice my decenting opinion amongst all the ditto head's comments.

I am a driver just like you. If people are overly anxious (and obvious about it) and being jerks, I purposefully drive slowly. My little brother (not-so-little anymore... 20) does the same thing. Just a few days ago we were talking about this and realized we need bumper stickers that say: I am the cause of roadrage. Or something like that. Keep up the good work!

Hey there - I hope you are having a good day -- You say you can't describe the feeling you have when you visit that place and trace your wife's name with your finger -- I now wonder if after all these years cremating my daughters was the best decision? Sometimes I ache for a place to go to see them, to pay my respects, to sit and talk to them, or sing, or like you said, trace my fingers over their names on their headstone. Since I cremated them, and scattered their ashes in the Atlantic Ocean, my only sense of solace is in my mind that being either in the Pacific or the Altantic oceans, that where I am they will be to? Does that make sense? I guess I am an odd duck in the sense that sometimes cemeteries give me a sense of comfort, which is why we have them I guess. Take care - Trin

You aren't an idiot. I, too, have subjected my wife to a lot of bad moods, moodiness, snappiness and all-around bad temper. It's how I am. It took her a while to realize it, but she understands me like no-one else does and she's happy. It is not a lack of love responsible for bringing those feelings out, and anyone who loves you in return will surely realize that. Accept yourself like the girl with soft hands does and don't kick yourself ... I did spend the weekend doing something I love -- I sunbathed (miracle of all miracles)!

I was just walking by, and happened to see your diary. I respect your honesty, and your willingness to share your pain with strangers, particularly on an issue I would consider highly personal. Oh, and your tales of Psycho Lady are freaking hilarious. "Return to the double-wide trailer from whence thy came!"
