Hahaha, like a total TOOL, I left a 'test' link inside the index template. Pffft! Go to the layout editing area of the members area, select to edit the main entry HTML and find this %%entry%%. After that, you should see: <a href="http://gingerbug.diaryland.com">test</a> - remove that bit! *hits head on floor and recites 'I will NOT fiddle with HTML after an 8-hour day at work, I will NOT...'*

Hi! I stumbled upon your diary and ended up reading quite a bit of it. I think you're a great writer and very introspective. It's interesting to get a perspective from someone your age in your position...and I just thought I'd say so. Keep writing...Cari

Your poem makes me think of hot cocoa and jack-o-lanterns and It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.

I could tell you that it's a great poem and I'd be right. But the more I read it, you've written a perfect folk song. Know anyone that plays guitar?

Just read your poem. I have to preface this by saying that I'm no fan of poetry. That said, I really liked your poem! It is a fantastic piece of writting. your Pal - Malcolm

For all of us "ditto heads" - if we are going 10 over the speed limit, I feel that is an acceptable speed to travel in the fast lane. We just might have saved a "crazy speed freaks" life, not to mention whoever he/she might hit, by slowing them down for a few minutes! Anyways, Widower, your poem was wonderful!

I know what you mean about people psychoanalyzing you through your writing - sometimes I just wish people would just read and enjoy. When I was in college majoring in English, I took an American Novel class. I could not believe some of the stuff people interpreted out of the books we read. It really started to get my goat when every story had to have a "Christ figure" in it. There were time that they really were stretching it. I guess thats why I didn't stay in the English department :)
