I am sooo happy for you!! You will always appreciate the relationship with Marathon Girl much more than the average person because of what you've been through. I lost my husband when I was 24. I remarried when I was 30 (five years ago) and every day I feel so lucky and happy to have found my guy. Congratulations!

I guess the irony is that it's my name carved in your driveway, saying that you love me, and my favorite poem next to it -- haha. Good luck with your life. Be nice to her, nicer than you are.
