Good luck in the Deseret News marathon - I've known a couple of people who have run that, they say while it is a tough one, it is rewarding. (Me, on the other hand, well, I can't see running 26+ miles to anywhere as much fun - but then, as my grandmother would say, 'that's what makes horse races'...) Seriously, good luck, and while I won't be out on the streets, I'll think you happy marathon thoughts! And I'll pray that we get a cold snap, and it's like 55 degrees Thursday morning!

I LOVE William Gibson. Good luck on the race. I just had a feeling that everything would work out for you and it has.

Yes, and politics in many definitions of the word. Thank you for your opinion. There's a part of me that would love to see some of those people but a larger side thinks there'd be way too much drama involved. Good luck with your race, btw :)

If the desire is there, you'll run your race and you'll run it as strong as you can. You might not set a PR but there's always another race. Good luck.

I think you have such a wonderful love story. It's very romantic. I have full faith that you will be recovered in time for your marathon and that you will run an awsome race.

Wow! That article about plantar fascitis was pretty bleak. I've heard of that problem and I have also experienced it. If you're serious about your race, stay off your feet as much as possible. Walking and riding a bike should keep you in shape enough for the race. You might not meet your goal time but you will deffinitly finish. A little rest at this stage in the game isn't going to hurt you. I'll be keeping my finger crossed for you and reading your updates! Good luck!

That's great that you were her worst date. Everybody's got a worst date story, and you were hers! That just makes me laugh. Ha!
