Congratulations on your first marathon. You did the right thing by continuing to run. No matter what, never ever give up. It's the biggest lesson in life and it can be learned in a short 26.2 miles. Isn't that amazing? Good luck with October. It can only get better from here.

Good luck with the marathon! I'm glad to see that you're back. I was reading you last year when you went on hiatus to date and marry Marathon Girl.
