Thank you. I'm sure this is not what my manager had in mind when she felt like being nasty and demanding a dr.'s excuse. Pretty sure she didn't expect me to really have something wrong. I swore, through each stage of the boys beginnings, that each one was my favorite. That continues to this day. My favorite part of being a parent is seeing their personalities develop and watching them accomplish things they aren't quite sure they will. Glad to hear that your boy-o is doing so well!! :)

I agree, building websites is so much fun! I'm not great at it, but there is something rewarding about being able to teach yourself something like that.

Hey Walter! Just kidding. Sorry about that. I'm kind of scared now seeing as I have no clue who Walter is. Freaky.

Hey, not to worry. I'm just happy to be getting a prize at all--and the wait just makes it all the more exciting!

I'm assuming that you are Walter, I hope I'm not wrong. I can't think of anyone else that it could be though. I just wanted to let you know, if you are Walter, that I appreciate your comments. I would never bad mouth Mike in front of Griffin. If he hadn't just emailed me then I probably wouldn't talk about him at all. The thing is I will be much more forgiving of Mike if he stays away. I don't know if I can truly hide my feelings if he's around and annoying and harassing us the rest of his life. It would be much healthier for Griffin, if I can just tell him about Mike when he asks. I'm not going to say anything negative about him. I'll just sayi that his biological father was very young when he was born and that I'm sure he thinks about him and what not and if he wants to meet him then I can arrange it. I want it to be Griffin's choice to have him around though and not mine or Mike's. I also think that I'll be more apt to handle it better if Griffin, Mike and I are all a little older. There is just still a lot of anger and resentment if you know what I mean. Anyways thanks for the comment. It means a lot to have in put from someone that has been in Griffin's shoes.

I witnessed the same thing at the Easter egg hunt that we attended this past Saturday. Griffin was too small to hunt of course but my cousin's little girl did and she had at least five adults hunting with her. It was a madhouse mostly due to the adults. Oh well, fun tradition. I guess. I just hope I don't turn into one of those parents myself next year!
