Hope you and your wife have a blast in Seattle. I lived in Tacoma, WA for 15 years and only went to Seattle twice, how wrong is that? Anyway, have fun!

I am not sure if you have been to Seattle or not, but if not you have to stop by Ivars on the waterfront, and have fish and chip and a bowl of their famous chowder. The Farmers Market (Pike Place Market) is a must see, and make sure you ask where the brass pig is. Everyone stops and touches it. Oh and their fish market is very cool, you can watch them literally toss around fish. One of my all time favorite places to go. The waterfront is really fun, if you go to the Ye Olde Curosity Shoppe, make sure you stop and see Sylvester and his girlfriend Sylvia:) They are two mummy's. There's the aquarium. There are harbor tours. There is the Seattle Center, and the Pacific Science Center. There's also the International Fountain, at the Seattle Center. My folks used to take us there in the Summer, on warm Summer nights in our PJ's and let us run around the entire thing while they sat and talked. Oh, and make sure you take at least one Ferry ride. Those are always cool. There's the Point Defiance Zoo, and Woodland Park Zoo, if you like animals. Boeing has it's museum of flight which is very neat. Oh and last but not least --If you are not afraid of heights there is the Space Needle. Seattle is my stomping ground, it's where I grew up and spent a lot of my childhood:) I am 3 hours away now in the Portland area. Too bad I didn't realize you all were going to be in my neck of the woods, I would have offered to drive up and take you both to dinner:) Enjoy the Pacific Northwest, and make sure to pack rain gear:)

Ugh I just hate distractions -- I really do. However, they serve a purpose, and when the time comes that you can free that distraction and get it all off your chest all the better. I am here if you need an ear.
