That is amazing that people would grumble about $15 a month! My husband works for the state and for both of us we pay $45 bi-weekly. Wow.
And if you think about it - that's about 4 trips to Starbucks a month....

Stumbled upon your diary...you're a great writer, you kind of pulled me in. Anyway, I can relate to the health insurance entry. My work did something similar last week, where before we had no co-pay, now its $10 for an office visit. You'd think the people here were going to faint. We also have excellent benefits, fully paid. I know not everyone has a good money situation, but it's amazing to watch people who I guess have become so spoiled...

Hey, my dad is at that same tradeshow! Hopefully the weather is better there than it is here. We sure need the water though - I just keep reminding myself of that every time I look outside at the dreary weather! I had to go for a drive yesterday, I was searching for the sun. I finally found it our in the southwest desert. :)
