"Hey, you have to start them early or they could end up rooting for teams like the New York Yankees or Oakland Raiders." Heehee! Don't the Jesuits have a saying along the lines of "Get them for the first 5 years, and they'll be yours forever"? I think it works the same way with sports teams... Congratulations, by the way!

Man, I thought for a minute as I scrolled down that you were never going to tell us! May/June is a good time for a baby to be born because then he'll be 16 right before summer vacation starts and can get his license and a job after sophomore year instead of Junior year like me.

I'll echo the messages before me and say congratulations! How very exciting it must have been for you to see your new child and how very touching. Boys are wonderful and trying and sweet and fun and..everything little girls are, just different. Glad things are moving along smoothly :)

I don't know how far along Marathon Girl is but pretty soon the baby will be rocking and rolling enough so that you get plenty of opportunities to see and feel the little fists and feet hitting and kicking. It's exciting! Best wishes!
