I don't agree with your statement about people complaining when they are faced with setbacks. I think it demonstrates a staggeringly narrow minded view, but I will not elaborate here. You are entitled to your opinions, as I am to mine. I wish you and MG all the very best with the Baby. Congratulations and good luck when he arrives.

I heard an interview on NPR with the maker of "Supersize Me." He said that he ate the same amount of food a day that he figured most Americans eat and actually curtailed his exercise program to better match that of most Americans. The one unusual thing is that he ate nothing but McDonald's products. He also said that although his liver function worsened dramatically, it began to level out towards the end of the month -- in other words, his body was starting to adjust to the new diet, which he found particularly disturbing.
I agree with you about the roast beef guy.
So this will be a dramatic weekend for you and Marathon Girl. Have fun! Try to stay mostly sane! And, congratulations. :)
