Hey - check out the Tucson Marathon. I know it is in that time frame, it's not over-whelmingly far from Utah and Tucson is a very easy place to travel to during the winter. Tucson is a little mountainous and not as hot as Phoenix. The mountains here though are nothing like Northern AZ or Utam, though. This is Sonoran desert and has nice flat straits. Winter months can be cold in the evening and in the early mornings but once the sun gets going, we are mid-60s in Dec and Jan.
It's great running weather and it is an inexpensive, safe place to visit.
Plus, it is gorgeous!!!!!

Hey! We have a great marathon here in Austin in February. It was called the Motorola Marathon, but I think they just changed the name to Freescale.
Anyway - my roomate, and my best friend both ran it, and had a good experience - Plus, Austin is great! Maybe I'll see you guys running, and recognize Aidan, or the back of your hands. =P

Sub eight minute miles... push a stroller... dude, you've been outdone! I'm lucky to get under 10. There is a nice park that has 4 mile of trails on hills and in the woods. I'm loving it. We are blassed with a lot of good bike trials here too. I could ride 100+ miles strictly on bike trials there.
