I'm surprised that fathers were overlooked in that article about the loss of a child and then realized I'd not heard a lot about the impact on dads. Wondered if that's because guys are usually brought up to be "stoic" about grief? Anyway, I am almost finished reading a really good book called "This Much I Know" by Wally Lamb and one of the issues the MC is going through is grief for the loss of his infant daughter.

amazing news about the 20 miles in 2 hours. whew. is she doing the austin marathon? my boyfriend's brother doest that one...tries to enlist me even! i think i would do as you -- go 5 miles and need to quit. well it's bedtime here in switzerland. i hope to wake up and discover today's loss was just a bad dream.
