Congratulations to Marathon Girl! That is incredible! (Especially for those of us who can't even fathom dragging our carcasses over pavement for 26+ miles....)

I lived in San Antonio for seven years (middle school and high school) and loved it, loved it, loved it there. However, it is a long drive from Houston. I wouldn't recommend trying to make it a day trip, especially not with a baby. The coast is more doable.
My husband once said "I love you, Angela" instead of "I love you, Alice" to me. Angela is his ex-girlfriend. I was vaguely upset, but he felt worse about it than I did, so I let it go. He did tell me that he once said "I love you, Amanda" instead of "I love you, Angela" to her, Amanda being a friend of hers he'd had a crush on. I suppose it happens.

I linked to your diary via Aida and I just wanted to tell you that you are an inspiration. You have such a beautiful and articulate way of expressing your various emotions and it gives us all hope that we can ultimately find happiness. Congratulations on your baby, I'm sure he's a true delight!

Speaking as a wife, I bet she does it on purpose. ;) I know I do. I love torturing my husband.
